Sometimes it might feel as if life is getting in the way of your academic success. But help is just around the corner with free and confidential counselling available right on campus.

If you are dealing with a problem that is affecting your school performance, it may be useful to talk to someone who can support you. Counsellors at both the New Westminster and Coquitlam campuses are trained to provide short-term personal counselling, career counselling and student advocacy. You may want to visit Counselling Services if you are having trouble in areas such as:

  • Managing personal stressors
  • Relationship problems
  • Grief
  • Family-related concerns
  • Anxiety or depression
  • Adjustment to college
  • Setting career goals
  • Making career choices
  • Understanding your rights and responsibilities according to College policy

How do I make an appointment?

Student Service office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Pick up the phone or come in person to make an appointment. If you are in crisis or do not require a full hour appointment, feel free to drop in to see a counsellor.
