Douglas College presents speaker on global health governance and law Jan. 27

If you're involved in the fields of health, law or social services, or if you're interested in the ever-evolving global landscape, you won't want to miss Global Health Governance and Law with Veronica Fynn Jan. 27.

Fynn, who holds a law degree from York University and a Master's in Public Health from the University of Nottingham, presents a unique perspective on the global health issues from a legal, ethical, and cultural perspective. She will discuss selected global health challenges with regard to adopting international laws and policy solely for the regulation of national health systems.

Born in Ghana and living in Canada since the early 2000s, Fynn focuses on the health and global concerns of the "world citizen," examining the issues in cultural adaptation as they relate to health.
