Douglas College birdie smasher up for athlete of the year award

Royals badminton star Melody Liang has made the shortlist for Sport B.C.'s athlete of the year. Melody, who lives in Burnaby, is a five-time Canadian college national women's doubles champ. The Douglas grad didn't lose a single match in her career, and set a national record with 95 wins. Read more about Melody in the Record.
