Concert Series: An Evening of Jazz

New West Campus, Laura C. Muir Performing Arts Theatre

The Douglas College Music Department presents An Evening of Jazz featuring the DC Night Band led by Blair Fisher and the DC Dues Band led by John van Deursen, with special guests The Jazz Connexion led by Cameron Hood. Toastmasters Open House

You are invited to a special meeting of Douglas Toastmasters. Come and listen to a presentation on Mustapha Lansana’s contest-winning speech, “Living In The Present,” during our Open House. The Douglas College Music Department presents the DC Concert Band under the direction of John van Deursen featuring the music of Bach, McBeth, Arnold, Reed and more, plus performances by the DC Percussion Ensemble led by Robert Caldwell. Give back, make a difference! The Douglas College Student Ambassadors are collecting non-perishable food items to give to Douglas students in need over the holiday season.
