Student Ambassadors, DCBA hold food drives

By Brittney Lau, Student Staff, Office for New Students

Are you looking to give back this Christmas but are too busy with finals? Here is a quick and easy way to make a difference!

The Douglas College Student Ambassadors are collecting non-perishable foods to give to Douglas College students in need over the holidays. Simply donate any canned or non-perishable food items on your way to class.

We will be collecting canned and non-perishable foods at the New Westminster Campus in the main concourse from 10am-2pm on Thursday, Dec. 1. We will also have pictures with Santa Roary, colouring, candy count contest, free candy and many more fun games. The Douglas College Business Association is also collecting non-perishable food items in the concourse for its own food drive Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-4pm, till Dec. 6

We will be collecting canned and non-perishable foods at the David Lam Campus in the Welcome Centre in the atrium from 10am-3pm, Nov. 23-Dec. 1. We will also have candy count contest, wheel of prizes, free candy and other fun games on Dec. 1 only.
