Douglas College wins award in international education

Once again, Douglas has been recognized for its exceptional work in international education, this time from the Canadian Bureau for International Education. Last week the College received the Outstanding Program in International Education Award for its Uganda Project, an initiative that sends student interns to the African country to work in hospitals, libraries and aid centres. In June, Douglas was named the first-ever recipient of the Internationalization Excellence Award from the the Association of Canadian Community Colleges. Read more about that here.
