Thousands of posters – depicting just about every subject imaginable –  will fill a huge indoor art gallery on campus. There’s something for  everyone, and proceeds go directly to the Douglas College Foundation. See doug: the community blog for details. 

Study in Scotland: info session

Spend four weeks in New Westminster, then three weeks at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Return home at the end of the program, or chose to extend your travels in Britain or Europe.

Welsh Courting Customs: Were they legal?

Welsh courting customs were viewed by the English as proof of the attractive "backwardness" of the native population. But a wealth of historical information demonstrates that Welsh courting customs encompass far more than is apparent in the quaint practice of exchanging love spoons. A lecture by visiting scholar Conway Davies, University of Wales Trinity St. David. Reception to follow. Details here.
