As Frank Zappa once said, "Don't make a fuss, just get on the bus." But make sure you get your U-Pass BC first.
The College began distributing U-Pass BC cards today at noon. There are three U-Pass BC dispensing machines at the New West Campus, two opposite the Security booth and one in the Library (room 2100G), and two at David Lam in the Atrium.
Till Sept. 9 student volunteers will be at each machine to assist you in getting your first U-Pass BC. If you need help after Sept. 9, inquire at the Cashier's Booth (2nd floor, Concourse, New West) or the Security Office (David Lam, Atrium).

The U-Pass has a month attached to it.. does this mean this can ONLY be used in the month shown? or can it be used before the month...? Also, does the new U-Pass come every 17th of each month...?

ReplyDeleteThe U-Pass BC card is effective for the month that is displayed on the front of the card. For example, September is valid for the period Sept. 1 - Sept. 30. On the 17th of each month, the machines will begin dispensing the U-Pass BC card for the next month. This will be the process each month.
this will save me so much money, i know it sucks a little for people who done use transit and now have to pay for the pass, but i think i add this up as saving me, around 1,000 dollars over my renaming semester. i only wish Douglas had the u-pass sooner.
