Douglas College Self Employment grad helps save the planet

She doesn't waste any time. Or mattresses! Terryl Plotnikoff graduated from the Self Employment Program in February, but her company is well off the ground and already employs 14 people. Canadian Mattress Recycling is one of only three mattress recycling depots in Metro Vancouver and has saved more than 10,000 mattresses and box springs from the landfill since the beginning of this year.
