Dealing with mental health challenges in the workplace

Fact: One in four British Columbians will experience some kind of mental disorder during his or her lifetime.

Do you have the tools to recognize and deal with a mental health challenge?

New View Society in partnership with the Douglas College Foundation invites senior leaders, human resource teams, managers, business owners and employers from the Tri-Cities area as well as students to a workshop this Friday on mental health in the workplace.

Mental health problems come in many forms. Depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and misuse of alcohol and other drugs can have a dramatic effect on your organization, managers and employees. This high-level presentation will look at effective solutions that can shift your approach to dealing with employees with mental health issues.
